The Cajeput tree has a spongy, white bark that easily flakes off the trunk. It is native to Australia and is also known in North America. It is sometimes referred to as the Tea Tree. Aborigines from Australia use the Cajeput bark for shields, roofing, canoe and timber. Coming from the Eucalyptus family, the tree has pointed leaves and flowers that are white, red or green.
