Sunflower Seeds

Sunflower seeds have micronutrients in them. These seeds are not consumed as whole. Oil of these seeds is extracted and this oil is used. These seeds have vitamin ‘E’ in them.

  • As these seeds are enriched with vitamin ‘E’ which helps to provide protection of our cells against free radicals.
  • It helps to regulate blood flow and also in production of red blood cells.
  • These seeds have thiamine and vitamin B in it. It helps the body organs to function effectively.
  • Commonly, males need intake of 1.2mg vitamin B daily & females 1.1mg of daily intake.
  • Due to abundant presence of vitamin E in these seeds, these seeds are best for skin and hair. It protects the skin from harmful UV rays present in sunrays.
